Anabel Toribio
I am a UX/UI designer with a background in Fine Arts. I earned a certificate in UX/UI from the University of Texas San Antonio School of Data with skills in visual prototyping, wire-framing, agile methodologies, and user interface development.
I enjoy looking at a problem and readily participate in the process of critique and iteration to arrive at the best design solution to create an intuitive user experience.
What I enjoy most about UX/UI is the process of data-driven design. Every solution to a design problem is evaluated with data that has been researched, gathered and analyzed, which is a paradigm shift for me in the creative process.
Hello!
About me
about my fine art work
My body of work includes contemporary figurative paintings on panel and paper investigating human behavior created by modern day living and our use of digital devices. My curiosity evolved from my observations of personal interactions in public and private spaces at the intersection between habit and communication. The work conveys an empathetic study in body language and psychological space.

The materials I use are a variety of paintings mediums including oil, oil enamel and acrylic. The application of paint varies from thin glazes to fleshy brushstrokes on the verge of expressionism and is contrasted by the opaque patterns and flat spaces created by the architecture of the interior spaces created in the work.
